They have an event, open for public, an expert is going to speak about how somethingsomething(seriously i forgot which!), barack obama, arab revolution are redefining the middle east. I saw the event advertised in the newspaper but I couldnt find it on their website's news and events section. If anyone is interested, check out yesterday's Peninsula newspaper because that is where I saw it.
You have to register online on that site they specified on the ad.
good luck!

We tried to attend but the parking is messed up. The allotted space got full early on with lots of other attendees finding out too late that the parking space is already full to capacity. The security guards tried to do their best to untangle people but they have to be around the parking space so other attendees still kept trying to get through, finding out too late they have to go back. Got stuck ourselves in a bottleneck on our way out of the supposed Georgetown parking space for this event so ...meeehhh! decided to grab dinner instead. We want to go to these talks and just learn a little, see people we read about, listen to other people's views no matter.
Just take note though: whenever you attend something that asks for your email address as often is the practice these days even if they are open for public, your names are registered, get recorded and end up in some master list somewhere for others to peruse, review or maybe take profit from later on. that sounds awfully paranoiac but at the same time creepy even if you are just innocently there to learn something. PR firms, brand advisors/developers of sorts, strategic ek ek consultants, non-profit orgs - are all beginning to sound suspiciously the same. seriously, doesnt it creep you out that you can be googled and if you've been nonchalant with your identity, there is so much that can be found out about you? doesnt that bother you? it doesnt? then carry on.
