As i was saying, intro to SustainableQatar.
I was dragged (dramatic but i am invoking blogger's license!) into one of their meetings because someone thought i might be interested - just because i was asking around who recycles plastic in doha!??!
As i sat down in one of the meetings, i found out that the founder/director/last-oldest/remaining member in doha (?) organizes 'talks' by inviting speakers to talk about topics related to environment. They also plan on organizing events to spread environmental awareness. But they do more i am sure. so if you're interested in finding out more about them, who they are, what they do, or would like to be active in their group, please visit their website at www.sustainableqatar.com.
I am not a member, so my shenanigans here should not cloud your decision to join them I am not really an "organization person", i like helping in the background but there's something about belonging to a club or group that makes me feel claustrophobic right away:P
Sooo anyways, do check them out and hope you attend their latest meeting on Feb 6th Monday about:
