Gawd, I miss you guys! Where is everybody?! I'm in the Kingdom. SERIOUSLY. It's too early to say how long I will last here. But I for one am glad that the weather is getting cooler. It wasn't easy adjusting from 9 degrees C to 35.
What is everyone up to? I get news from Dulcinea from time to time, and random phone calls from a Bullylicious and that's it. Oh, and I try to decrypt sentences from Snakie's mysterious life as well. Because I'm in the Kingdom. And that's ALL THERE IS TO DO AROUND HERE!!!

I'm sure my Facebook statuses provide plenty of decrypting material. Even the ones that piss Cat off.

Going to Doha in November methinks! Will you be able to get some time off from your temp job to amuse me? Gawd, there are no words for life here. Compound life is bearable, there is actually a bus that takes women to malls and shops and places, but I don't even dare to take it yet with the little monster in tow. The compound is like stepping into the set of Desperate Housewives - copy/paste houses with front porches, gardens with bbq sets, the works. It's vomitingly quaint. We get to wear the abaya but not the dang headgear. But damn, Saudi is really hardcore. Abayas in Qatar are nicely fitted and can be flattering to the shape; here it's all black shapeless sacks, and 98% of the women cover their faces. Dulcinea's been busy zipping around the world but she should be in Doha now, so show yourself to us, woman! ;P And belated Happy birthday Qcat!!! How goes it where you are?! Updates updates updates please!!!

i remember the first time i had to put on an abaya in iran...they give it to you in the airport, generic size - i felt like one of the good fairies from sleeping beauty - which by the way is not the look i was going for!
you are living a quaint life! at least that one comes with a nanny this time, chance for you to make up for all the lost sleep!! cant wait for you to visit here and chitchat! of course there's time for you, you nutso!
will harrass Dulc as soon as she lands!muwahahahaha!

November is almost over, where are you Belish??? We are still waiting for you and Lila, I can't wait to see you! I haven't been in this site for so long, I guess between Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin and my online university I have my internet exhausted already! Where is everyone, what are the plans for the holidays next month? Happy Black Friday by the way!
