Anyone excited for this movie? based from BBC hype, it sounded like an emo Bond...but im still curious to see it. At least it's about 30 minutes shorter...so that's about 60 less shots of craig in shorts, craig in wet shirt, craig naked tied to a chair.....dang! that right there kinda decreased the enthusiasm already by 30%. On another good side, hopefully they've learned their lesson from the previous film to NOT go for the lovestory angle... seriously, we've already seen his love story in Shrek 1-3 so no need for another. now i hope they concentrated on making it the british version of bourne identity. honestly i dont have an issue with his looks, it is what it is, and he looked interesting enough and smart - so bond producers can lay low a bit on beating his face up to explain his looks... but still i wonder.... will bond producers make a sequel shot in holloween to keep him in mask? will there be a masquerade ball to hide his face?....i wonder.... ima look up the trailer!!!

well...it looks good!!...and they still have a wet shot of him...with a lot of pouring water obscuring his face....ahahahaha!!!......and they made him wear a ski mask.....LMAO!!!

times are tough for movies this weekend.......there was choice #1: Highschool Musical 3, i know snakie, your guilty pleasure. #2 Beverly Hills chihuahua....we ended up watching a liam neeson movie,Taken. omg. i wish i was a fly on the wall when they were planning this movie. it's like.....i dunno, liam was sending secret fillers to bond producers out there to give him a try? it had all the bad elements of 007...on a string budget. or...take the worst season of 24 and get discount version of jack bauer's annoying daughter, make her jump a lot in retarded glee...voila! Taken the movie.
then went home to find solace in collection of what could be interesting movies....watched El Mariachi.........ahahahahahaaa!!!AHAHAHAHAHAHAAA!!!HAHAHAHA! im so foolish. naively upbeat! where is long island ice tea when u need it?!

well WTF!!!! this trailer in this thread is totally not the movie we saw last night and we caught the 11 pm screening of QOS!! i dont remember those scenes being in this current JB - there was no blonde, no water on his face, no ski masks.....is this from the prev JB? whatever.
The QOS was waaaay too dramatic and camera too frenetic to get urself into whats going on - car chase was nothing but random shots of speeding, crashing, explosion and more dizzying shots of whatever...i had to remind myself i am not watching cloverfield! Whatever happened to clean but 'realistic' shots of car chases and fights - one that you can actually see and admire everyone for orchestrating it? Ronin anyone?
I dont kno if ive seen too much action movies already or i am looking for patterns in it but seriously, the chases (human) and fight scenes were like the last Bourne movie, only it was shot in Italy and Tahiti -- and their cameras more epileptic.
I was right - this is an emo bond. Good thing Craig is a good actor - but theyve taken themselves waaayyy too seriously this time. Or maybe it's coz Craig is a good actor so they've put him in scenes where they can actually get what he was paid for - but this is James Bond, not Bourne not Layer Cake. I kno they want to intellectualize the franchise but come on....interspersing chase with the opera? was not even nicely done....get over yourselves. This is JAMES BOND! what's wrong in just making another character?
There were good clean shots in this film - but they mostly involved Craig looking grim and Craig walking. The best thing about this film is Craig's shades and Craig's black jackets.
anydohahooo, this james bond is the first movie character ive seen kissed another human being on screen in my doha movie going history! really!! they kissed! on the screen!! and there was an audible gasp everywhere!.....and there were mostly guys in the theater!LMAO!! there was even a papparazi upskirt shot of one of the girls shaved coochie!lolol! This james bond was too fast for the doha editing team....lolol!
the last craig jb is better than this one definitely - but someone says this is like the second part of a trilogy thus the....period of lameness. whatever. i hope they learn from the Matrix disastrous trilogy. Dont get me wrong, this movie is watchable - as i said Craig is a good actor but at the end of the movie u'd just go......WTF...and not in a good funny Blood Simple way.

The question is, do I GO? LOL I download, or buy DVDs  But yes, from memory - they do kiss on screen. Here they even show very very tame love scenes. |

In other news, apparently I saw Karina Kapoor day before yesterday. Well I didn't know it was her until my colleague went nuts!! LOL something like "Ohhhhhhhhthat'sKarinaKapoorSheIsSizeZeroLetsGetCloser" nuts. She was nothing much by the way. And ugly legs!

the best question ive heard from the movie goer about this film....and he like asked it 4 times in merry wonder!! "Why did they call her Vespa? Why would anyone name her Vespa?!" serious. well....aside from it being a popular motorbike/moped, it is also latin for wasp (i told you they want to intellectualize the franchise!) and they couldnt call her...well motorbike or wasp...and hornet is already another comic character. but i dont really kno, maybe the writer just likes motorbike to much. Vespa btw is the name of his gf who died in the last film and is the constant source of J's angst in this quantum of solame... |

Jason Bourne saw the QOS - jason thought that copying bourne's action sequence was so lame........ Bourne was so pissed off, saw a copy of the latest issue of Esquire magazine, rolled it and beat James Bond to death with it.............while a music of Moby was playing.

I just saw this movie, it sucked ass. It nuked the fridge so many times that I stopped counting right after the parachute opening scene. No one can survive that fall without breaking X number of bones and damaging X number of internal organs.
Bourne FTW!
