Am I the only one irritated by the three ladies on the Dubai One show Her Say?
I hate the way they nod sympathetically, feign interest in what the other is saying, bat their overly-mascara-ed eyes for the camera, then change the topic !
"Today is the 3rd year anniversary of the tsunumi that took place in Asia..." says one.
"Has it been 3 years?" the other two gasp dramatically.
"Yes," says the other, nodding her head with a bit of lip-biting, angling her head towards the camera. "It's one of those events that make you remember where you were when you heard the news..."
"I know. Where were you, when you heard the news?"
"I was in L.A." she answered.
"Really?!" the other two say, for some reason, with freaking awe in their voices.
"Yep," she replies, obviously pleased by the awe in their tone, nodding modestly. "I was in LA...."
Jesus H Christ, must control my temper!!!!! KILL! KILL! KILL!!!!!!

Their being fake just kills me. You could put a water bottle, a lampshade and a bedsheet infront of the microphone and they'd do a better job hosting that damn show.

I think Her Say presenters are great. Everybody complaining about the presenters are very narrow-minded. The ladies are very presentable, and as presenters they are very professional. 10/10 for the ladies !! If you can find any other presenters who that can match their presentation skills, let me know !!

I'm from tv (ABC) in the states and just moved to dubai. I think what people need to recognise is that in an emerging market everything has a starting point. Dubai is only just starting to build its local tv production industry and what you will see in the region particullarly Dubai in terms of TV and film production is a massive boom in the coming years. The industry is in its infancy right now. Like anything in business, producing a talk show involves a team effort and what we as the viewer see on tv is only the end product of a collaboration of work from ideas generation to editing. The raison d’etre of Her Say is clear to me. It is four women with four different nationalities looking at central themes. They display strong characters but perhaps are stiffled in some capacity to express them freely as can be done on The View. This is a challenge in any market particullarly this region with its censorship restrictions, limited freedoms of speech and lack of credible market research bureau's.
I say well done so far to the Dubai One team on producing what I know first hand is a challenging weekly tv production.
To the girls I think they are great and show strong potential for any international network, I'd like to know more about them individually as this is also key in establishing a strong character and opinion driven show.
Well done so far.

Well done so far. i mulled over what you wrote and thought about potential, possibilities, etc... but i still think they suck. to make matters worse, they added a new member to their make-up club. anyway, i just change the channel when they're on.
