Pretty disappointing overall, I have to say. The problem is not that it goes on for 140 minutes, it's just that most of that time is filled with stuff of no particular interest and absolutely cheesy dialogue. And as for the ending - It's pitch dark when James Franco's character takes two blades through his chest...and the sun is well up by the time he finally dies - after the obligatory farewell speech and tears. I didn't bother hanging around for his funeral, mind.
If you liked the previous two, you'll like this. Even otherwise you might enjoy it fleetingly. Therse some good scenes and good humour here and there. And as ever, the camera work is truly outstanding. I was half expecting to find myself plumetting 50 storeys any moment.

it's ok-ish, I suppose, certainly not worth the hype. Kids will certainly enjoy it. When I watched it, they were whooping and clapping and all that stuff. It'll appeal to people who like movies with fantasy and romance and all that, not necessarily action movie fans, and people who are more into serious-type movies.

Think I would watch this one on big screen. Maybe because, it kinda reminds me of being a kid and running along and singing 'spider-man ... spider-man' Is it juvee saturday?  |
