Natalie Portman is either a wierdo, or a really good actress. I remember seeing her in Closer a couple of years ago, and she was really annoying, and then she was terrible in Star Wars, and then she was as dumb as it gets in V for Vandeta. Now after watching The Professional I dont know what to think about her...

I thought she was great in the movie with jude law, julia roberts ... I forget the name  She's a doll for sure if you are into yougins but she's spoken for! I blame that damn SandMonkey |

Would it be Jude law and Nicole Kidman instead, in Cold Mountain? Portman was great in it.

jude law, julia roberts, clive owen, and natalie portman..yep. didn't care much for the movie though.
and that's weird..i always thought natalie portman was way ahead of her time. then again, people thought wynona ryder (spelling?) was way ahead of her time yet she failed to accomplish anything other than the status of B-list actress.

Now after watching The Professional I dont know what to think about her... i think she just has a wider range of acting abilities and more diverse personality (ivy league graduate aside from being an actress) that she gets to play a wider variety of roles. she can be in a teen-type of movie like garden state and 'adult' roles like vendetta and closer and offbeat like in the professional and she has another movie coming about Goya and a comedy with robin williams and that toosie guy i think. she is different with her age-groups right now that she is not typecast as vajayjay flashing celeb, drunk on parties or other controversies yet. just different. |

Check her out in "Beautiful Girls", where she plays an "old soul". One of my fav movies.

oooh yeh gunnerbabe almost forgot that movie!!i kinda like their story with timothy hutton, was sweet and could have been creepy but it was nice...even like the part when they sang sweet caroline!hahaha!actually, can barely recall that movie...all i remember is their tim n nat's story, uma was beautiful there, and that sweet caroline song...the rest:blur.
