It is mel gibson's new movie, fresh from his antisemitic drunken tirades! it is supposed to be visually and technically good beside the obvious torture porn galore, so best to separate the artist from his art if u'r bothered by his publicized personal character so as not to miss this experience. it could get so violent though u might end up feeling u'd enduring the film and not watching it. it's getting mixed reviews but mostly, none can deny it has it good technical points/merits....just that for some the violence is overkill. mutilations, vibrating ripped out internal organs....but most have seen private ryan already right?lol...but to quote, apparently, it is not enough for mel gibson that a woman is drowning in one scene...but that that woman has to be giving birth too while drowning........how batcrap crazy is that? thing is, there is such a fine line between crazy and genius, and time and generation catch up late sometimes. it has one plus point for me......it's spoken in old language so people will have to shut up to read the subtitles to catch up!!.............i hope they'll screen ppl who cant read with just their eyes...so silence should be quaranteed:)
