Ten is still one of my defining albums of the mid-90's. Long live Grunge Rock. ;D

of course Ten is some kind of milestone in Grunge Rock (and maybe not only grunge rock). Pearl Jam is one of the few bands that did not sink after a few years, Vs, Vitalogy, and even their most recent stuff is still worth hearing, even if it's not as successful (as good?) as their beginnings. Their work with Neil Young on Mirrorball is also good (does not sounds much like Pearl Jam, but hey, that's Neil Young). Nirvana, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains (maybe they were the best) did not last. Pearl Jam's still here.

unfortunately alice in chains couldnt last as their lead vocals layne staley died (od?endocarditis?) and the same goes for Nirvana (suicide). their demise also signalled the end for the grunge yrs. a lot from grunge that remained are still kewl though i.e. foofighters/dave grohl
vedder is still kewl:)

For Layne Staley, it's an OD, it was his girlfriend who died of endocarditis. He was such a great voice. Dave Grohl is a great drummer, what he does with de the Foo Fighters has ups and downs. I love his drumming on 'Songs for the deaf' for Queens of the Stone Age.

Foo Fighters are awesome live, saw them at the same concert I saw the Smashing Pumpkins. Actually got up and left while the Pumpkins were playing they sucked so bad. Foo Fighters were the highlight of that day.
Green Day Dookie and Red Hot Chilli Peppers BloodSugarSexMagic were also awesome!
