In the last QBB gathering (3 hours ago), the long running topic was who are the worst actors of all time in the popular american cinema and the list was narrowed down to the ff. in no specific intensity of awfulness: 1. Sylvester Stallone - this was strongly opposed by Snakeywinkie of course but did you see the director's cut of Rambo 4?? John Rambo killed the main villain by doing a monologue! No one has ever achieved that in cinema before!! and the way the villain's head just exploded was awsome. A septuagenarian John Rambo will be out soon and it will be creatively titled as...GRANBO. 2. Steven Segal - I have to admit Segal wasnt that awful in the 80s. Remember Nico? Remember Hard to Kill? remember all those scenes when villains would try to mob him in a car garage or near a pool table? remember when he was a pissed off cook? those were good times!! Glimmer man was still watchable and that film with DMX....but after that......it just went downhill from there. He couldnt act crap even if his life depended on it but he can kick butts so he didnt need to act. but after his gut just started growing, and in a mid-life crisis sort of turn of events, he started attaching his films with hip hop gangsta culture which is just odd coz now he seems totally confused!! he wants to talk like an italian mob, he wants to asiankick butts, and he also wants to be gangsta badass with hiphop music!! The following two emoticons can accurately capture his RANGE of facial expressions: and 3. Jeane Claude Van Damme - he is just too hilarious for words. Maybe someone else can wax eloquent about his acting talents. I heard in all his movies, there is always some sort of explanation why he is an american with a weird accent. I'd say based from what ive seen of the adverts of his movies.....his main talent is that he can perform splits! 4. Chuck Norris - but he is a demigod and his tears can cure cancer so we'll leave him alone. 5. Wesley Snipes ...... ahahahahaa!! i'll get back at yah when i finally stop laughing....Ballz can give you a good impersonation....*dies laughing*..........

But, i have to say, that movie with Jack Nicholson and "Footloose" guy was a good one. Military Courtroom drama?

Few Good Men - Jack Nicholson is a classic in it, i didnt notice tom cruise. i actually forgot JN told him : "YOU CANT HANDLE THE TRUTH!!"
Top Gun - i was 11 and have not seen fighter planes before so that was kewl - although i cringed at that tender age when he sang in the bar you've lost that lovin feeling...lolol!
Cocktails - i wouldnt dare, i would bang my head on airplane seats to knock myself out if i ever find myself stuck in a plane movie with that one!
i'd say tom cruise still has more movies to make to prove himself worthy of this classic line up - he's just bad so far, not yet to my classic bad, unless he comes out with more scientology videos!lol!

OOOH YEH JAWS!! but that's 1975!! i could barely walk!lol! but when i saw jaws during betamax years, i was forever awaiting movies with giant fish!? I stalked the video rentals for Orca the killer whale - i stopped when i saw a film adaptation of Moby Dick.....porn...lolol! alas, after that, i didnt even bother with Free Willie - i never trusted movies with dubious names again.

Not really an actor, but I gotta nominate DAVID HASSELHOFF!!!!!! He sucks big time. Ever seen his music videos? Everything he touches turn to sh*t.
And that guy from Dawson's Creek (they show reruns every afternoon, giving a handful of unfortunate souls the privilege of seeing him NOT succeed in acting)

The video for 'hooked on a feeling' is pure genius. ;D I also nominated Dolph Lundgren but he was forgiven out of pity. Nicolas Cage's case is uncertain due to some early oscar.

Steven Segal abandoned his Japanese wife and child to go to Hollywood after he sucked the secrets of martial arts from his wife. I saw it on Hollywood True Stories!!!

Dolph Lundgren has a B.Eng in chemical engineering. That makes him a geek, not an actor.
While it's bad that Steven Seagal only has two expressions, Nicolas Cage only has one. Plus, I suspect he has smelly armpits. Which explains why none of his co-stars in any movie ever get within smelling distance of him, or at least keep their nose as far away as possible from his armpits. watch his movies if you don't believe me.
LOL

now im gonna have to pay attention if anyone actually does get close to anyone's armpits in movies!!
i cant imagine anyone doing a dramatic scene or bad@zz scene while close to someone's armpits...it's just wrong maann!!lol!
