here are three things i think you should keep in mind before you watch the film:
1. Transformers is a movie with giant robots. R-O-B-O-T-S. It's not schindler's list, not american history x. robots.
2. It's a Michael Bay film. Michael Bay you remember? the Rock? kinda like sparing partner of Jerry bruckheimer? Texas Chainsaw massacre? Armageddon? Bad Boys? Pearl Harbor? Amityville? ring any bell.........?? so try not to go out of the theater complaining about plots, consistency etc. over the top. thats a clue.
3. Transformers is a cartoon you used to watch as a kid. those harboring nostalgia and might be expecting to get that same old feeling you had watching it before you got dumped, bullied, employed by a horrible boss, got laid etc....so most likely u'll never get that same feeling again. whine til u'r blue on the face. Shows u used to watch as a kid werent exactly einstein stuff and especially robot shows were basically made for business market purposes -- u know, so u can bug ur parents to buy them for you. however, if u feel like going out and buying a camaro after uve seen this film.........you're on ur own. goodluck.
There.....i'd care if u argue that its technology was as bad as king kong circa-before-ipods, or that the actors were really bad at portraying robots or such...but if u still whine that that movie is so unrealistic..............gahhhhhhhh i swear!!!.........nothing. try prunes.
i wish they have IMAX here for this film!

There is a dome theatre in Doha. But it is built exclusively for children with special needs.
Not a theatre that anyone can visit.

kids today are lucky, sponge bob and other cartoons are too funny and less whinny! years from now when they see it again, it'll still be funny. i used to have fun watching smoo and pandemonium but im not sure if they'll still be funny now...........so im not watchign them again so as not to ruin memory!  |

My perennial Fave.... Tom and Jerry (laugh even today when i see it) and Road Runner, cuz my bro used to make me watch it when we were kids....Bugs Bunny!!

This movie kicked so much ass! It was great! So far this summer have had three really fun movies:
1. Hot Fuzz
2. Die Hard 4
3. Transformers
Now I can wait for the Bourne Ultimatum and the new Batman.

KID AWESOME!...makes me feel like how i felt as a kid in awe of something silly again!lol! huge companies must have paid loads for product placement in that film coz there were a lot! i could do without Turturos's character but who cares, i like how the robots kept morphing to cars n back to robots again. glad they made d subplots light comedy n didnt attempt to take themselves seriously........for awhile there i was worried that they'r gong to give lebeouf and bumblebee an ET moment, im glad they didnt:)).............whoever the cgi artists were, they'r awesome:))))))!

Fellas! If we really wanted to point out the inaccuracies we can always point out mistakes within the military uniforms that were used. Simplest example, special forces don't wear black berets! Bu since it was a fun movie (pg13) do we really have to pay attention to how they made the air base more like the hangar from Black hawk down, or how they made the village more like the village in the Three kings? No, because we just didn't come to see that! We came to see Optimus Prime Kick ass! Frenchie must be pissed off because the Decepticons weren't speaking French! |

If you have noticed, GM paid a ton of money to have that VW beetle next to Bumble Bee in the car dealership scene, in addition to that Beeyotch car freshener...
