currently compiling old school songs that i think i'd like to listen to while being driven through the desert (cant drive!)..
i against i - mos def & massive attack (nothing like a good tamed bass)
theme from mission impossible - moby (while listening to my friend telling me i should drive)
theme from fight club - nine inche nails (still listening to him convincing me to drive)
matrix gunfight song - propellerheads (i'd imagine liking this song while going through traffic)
ready steady go - paul oakenfold ( away from the traffic, seeing the desert first time)
freestyler - Boomfunk MCs (yeah yeah yeah!)
black rockin beats - chemical brothers (ooohhh yeahh)
blow your mind - lock n load (yeah yeah yeah! but not the icey remix!)
Start the commotion - wise guys (happy songggg!)
Front 2 Back - Playgroup/fatboy slim remix (happpy songggg!!)
Elevation remix - U2 ( me lara croft fantasies)
Phat Bass - blade remix
... and some more early fatboy slim remixes
i think i'll need more tracks!!! so WHAT IS YOUR ULTIMATE DRIVING TUNE?

ROFLMAFO!!! that was amazing Bulls. This guy definitely has the X factor! I can see why he thanked Simon for being called the worst singer. Compared to what I would have called him it sounds like a compliment!

How can you tell when you're getting old?
When people name the bands and singers they listen to, and you go "Hallelujah, they're speaking in tongues!!"

Expanding on QC's observation: How can you tell you are getting old?
When some young punk or princess says, "Check out this retro track - it's a classic!" and you remember the song being released when you were in Uni. Or that you were in the mosh pit during the same artist's concert.

I've a few songs i like. Never cared if i were listening to it while driving or just in bed. The top of the line would be 1. Thru' her eyes - Dream Theater 2. Low life in high places - Thunder 3. Fire Fire - Rammstein 4. Yellow polka Dot bikini - brian hyland 5. Maybelline - ( dont know who sang it... always rocked on the radio) 6. Summer wine - Nancy Sinatra and Lee Hazelwood
Any Alan jackson song man, the list is longer than i ever expected it to be.. i never knew i had so many favorites

For long distance drives, any Dire Straits works fine. For hours stuck in traffic, any loud music works fine ;D

I can tell I'm getting old when my 16 year old brother and his friends start talking about the Red Hot Chilli Peppers and I say, ya BloodSugarSexMagic was an awesome album and they say "What? They don't have an album by that name." or when I say something looks like a smurf and they ask me what a smurf is.
