Back to the tv..
Studio 60 on The Sunset Strip (1st three episodes) - Top notch, from Aaron Sorkin (West Wing)
The Nine - (only premiere) Also very good (nine people held hostage in a bank robbery for 52 hours, series unfolds and tells what happened in that timeframe)
Lost 3 - (only premiere) back on track, with JJ Abrams at the helm, and storyline mapped out
Veronica Mars 3 - (only premiere) 3 different story arcs instead of 1 major story this year.

The premiere of Lost 3 is good at least, the actor who played "Henry Gale" has been added to the opening credits, as has Desmond.
It's a Jack episode.
JJ Abrams did an interview where he talked about working more on Lost this year (since he was busy with Mission Impossible 3), but he wrote the season premiere.
I caught a few of the new shows, Heroes is getting some major buzz back home, but I only saw the premiere.

House, House, House.
House rocks.
What doctor would I want assigned to my care if ever I were suffering from (1) seizures brought on by a twin who mysteriously developed then died within me rather than in my mother's womb, (2) a split personality resulting from the fact that my testicles never descended and were devoured by the ovaries of the twin I absorbed, and (3) a migraine trying to figure out what I just wrote?
House, of course.
Don't know where they come up by the unbelievingly complicated and far-fetched cases/storylines, but they manage to make them credible. I WANT to believe all these really bizarre cases are showing up at this one hospital. I WANT to believe that this total butt of a doctor is a real sweetie deep down. Yup, House is hot.
